1. Overview & Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Fourangled (“Design Gallery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards information when you visit designgallery.fourangled.com (the “Platform”).

We adhere to the principle of data minimization: we collect only what is strictly necessary to provide a fast, curated design discovery service, process sponsor bookings, and protect the Platform against abuse.

2. Information We Collect & How We Collect It

A. General Gallery Visitors (No Account Required)

You can browse, filter, search, and view thousands of curated designs without creating an account or providing your name, email, or telephone number.

Saved Bookmarks: When you click the heart icon on any design, the design’s identifier is saved purely inside your browser’s localStorage. This data never touches our backend servers.
Recent Searches: Your recent search terms are stored locally in your browser to provide quick search suggestions. You can clear them at any time via the “Clear” button.
Cookieless Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics to understand general site traffic. Plausible does not use cookies, does not store persistent identifiers, and does not track you across other websites. All measurements are anonymous and aggregated.

B. Sponsors & Advertisers

If you choose to purchase an in-feed sponsor card via /advertise, we collect:

Brand Details: Brand or company name, destination website URL, and promotional tagline.
Contact Email: Used exclusively to deliver your private card management link, monthly receipts, and important service updates regarding your listing.
Creative Assets: The image or video file you provide for your sponsor card, stored securely on our content delivery network.
Payment Processing: Handled entirely by Razorpay. We do not store, view, or process credit card numbers or banking secrets.

C. Curated Designers (Attribution Data)

Design Gallery indexes creative work that designers have intentionally published publicly on social and portfolio networks (X, Instagram, Dribbble, Behance). The only information we index about designers is public portfolio data:

Public display name and public profile avatar;
Public social username or handle;
Public post caption and direct URL link to the original work.

Designers retain full control over their indexed presence. If you wish to update your details or have your profile and designs delisted, email [email protected].

3. How We Use Collected Information

We use the minimal information collected solely for the following legitimate purposes:

To serve and maintain the Design Gallery web application and search index;
To render sponsor placements and calculate aggregate performance analytics (impressions and clicks);
To process billing and renewals through our payment partner, Razorpay;
To fulfill copyright modifications and takedown requests submitted by original creators;
To defend against denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, automated bot abuse, and malicious traffic.

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information with data brokers, ad networks, or telemarketers.

4. Data Security & Storage

All network traffic to and from Design Gallery is strictly encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS). Database access is restricted via strict least-privilege policies, and sponsor management URLs are protected by cryptographic tokens.

5. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA & Global Privacy)

Regardless of where you reside, we provide you with complete control over your data:

Right of Access & Portability: You may request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
Right of Rectification: You may request corrections to any inaccurate personal information.
Right of Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): You may request the immediate deletion of your data or indexed public designs.
Right to Object: You may object to any processing conducted under legitimate interests.

6. Children’s Privacy

Design Gallery is intended for professional designers, developers, and adult audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
