1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Fourangled (“Design Gallery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the website located at designgallery.fourangled.com and all associated subdomains, features, media proxies, and feeds (collectively, the “Platform”).

By browsing, searching, bookmarking, accessing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must cease using the Platform immediately.

2. Nature of the Platform & Curation Service

Design Gallery is a specialized search engine, discovery index, and educational curation showcase for digital product designers, web developers, and creative technologists. The Platform curates publicly accessible UI designs, mobile screens, SaaS dashboards, interaction prototypes, and website layouts originally published by designers on third-party social and portfolio platforms, including but not limited to X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Dribbble, and Behance.

Design Gallery functions as an indexing catalog: we aggregate publicly visible creative media, organize it using descriptive structural tags (e.g., “SaaS Dashboard,” “Glassmorphism,” “Micro Interactions”), and provide direct references to the original sources to facilitate professional discovery and educational analysis.

3. Intellectual Property & Creator Attribution

Ownership Retention:

We do not claim any copyright, trademark, or ownership rights over any curated third-party design showcased on the Platform. All copyrights, visual assets, branding elements, trademarks, design rights, and proprietary interests in the curated works remain the sole and exclusive property of their respective creators, studios, or rights holders.

Mandatory Attribution: Every curated work presented on Design Gallery is paired with clear, prominent provenance information, including:

  • The author or designer’s public display name and avatar;
  • The author’s verified or public handle on the host platform;
  • An active, direct hyperlink navigating visitors to the author’s original public post or portfolio page.

We never strip author credentials, watermarks, or identity marks from curated works, nor do we present any third-party creation as having been conceived or authored by Design Gallery.

4. Transformative Fair Use & Nominative Reference

The aggregation, indexing, categorization, visual search indexing, and display of publicly disseminated digital design work on Design Gallery is undertaken for the purpose of scholarly review, critique, educational instruction, and professional industry discovery. These activities operate under the doctrine of Fair Use pursuant to Section 107 of the United States Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 107) and analogous international fair dealing exceptions for cataloguing, criticism, and review.

Nominative Fair Use of Trademarks: References to third-party brand names, social networks, and platform trademarks (such as “X”, “Instagram”, “Dribbble”, and “Behance”) are made strictly in a nominative capacity to accurately designate the technical origin and platform where the original work was published. Design Gallery is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of these social platforms.

5. Creator Choice, DMCA & Takedown Policy

We hold immense respect for creators. Even though our display of public portfolio works operates under fair use for indexation, we honor any creator’s personal wish to remove or modify their work without dispute or administrative hurdles.

If you are the copyright holder or authorized representative of any work featured on Design Gallery and you wish to:

  • Have your design completely removed and delisted from the gallery;
  • Update your name, bio, avatar, or link destination;
  • Exclude your handle from future indexation;

How to Submit a Removal Request or DMCA Notice:

Send an email to our Designated Copyright Agent at [email protected] with the subject line Design Takedown Request and include:

  1. The URL of the specific post or design on Design Gallery (e.g. designgallery.fourangled.com/design/[slug]);
  2. A link to the original work on the host platform proving ownership;
  3. Your statement requesting removal or correction;
  4. Your contact name and email address.

Turnaround Time: We review and act upon takedown notices within 24 to 48 business hours upon receipt.

6. Technical Caching & Media Proxying

To deliver a responsive, performant gallery experience across mobile and desktop devices without imposing excessive bandwidth demands on host platforms, Design Gallery may generate optimized thumbnails, webp/avif formats, and temporary proxy caches of publicly available media via global edge content delivery networks.

Such caching is strictly technical, transient, and incidental to the indexing and presentation function of the Platform. Removing an item via our takedown process immediately purges the item from our index and invalidates edge CDN caches.

7. User Conduct & Prohibited Uses

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Use automated scrapers, spiders, or robots to bulk-download designs or extract proprietary database structures without written authorization;
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or tamper with security features, rate limiters, or authentication mechanisms;
  • Misrepresent any third-party design found on the Platform as your own original work or use it to infringe upon the intellectual property of any creator;
  • Use the Platform to transmit malware, spam, or engage in abusive network conduct.

8. Sponsorship & Commercial Placements

Commercial sponsor placements booked through /advertise are paid promotional cards integrated between organic feed items. All sponsor cards are clearly disclosed with a prominent “Sponsored” tag to maintain editorial integrity and comply with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines and global consumer transparency standards.

Advertiser Obligations: Advertisers represent and warrant that they possess all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to display their submitted media, brand names, and taglines. We reserve the right to review, reject, or remove any sponsor creative that violates community standards, promotes illegal activity, or contains deceptive material. Sponsor payments and subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly cycle through Razorpay and may be cancelled at any time prior to renewal.

9. Disclaimers of Warranties

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fourangled disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful code, or that the design metadata, tags, or links provided by third-party APIs will always be completely accurate or current.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Fourangled, its directors, employees, affiliates, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption) arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fourangled and its team from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, unauthorized scraping, or infringement of any third party’s rights.

12. Modifications & Governing Law

We reserve the right to revise these Terms periodically. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms denotes your affirmative acceptance.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of applicable jurisdictions, without regard to conflict of law principles.
